Everton and Liverpool shared points In crazy Merseyside derby. The host salvaged a draw in the final minute of the match at Goodison Park thanks to a goal from James Tarkowski.
Tensions flared at full time, with Arne Slot, Curtis Jones, and Abdoulaye Doucoure receiving red cards.
Everton took an early lead through Beto’s well-placed strike, but Alexis MacAllister equalised five minutes later with a superb header. Mohamed Salah was in the right position at the right time (again), hammering in from close range after Curtis Jones’ original effort was blocked. And it appeared that would be the winning goal.
But a brilliant volley from captain Tarkowski made it 2-2 in the final seconds, a goal confirmed by a tense VAR check.

Following Tarkowski’s equalizer, Doucoure proceeded to celebrate in front of Liverpool’s away fans, which enraged Jones.
Jones and Doucoure collided during the celebrations, causing chaos in the final minutes as Everton fans, who had previously rushed the pitch when Tarkowski scored, were ecstatic.
Jones and Doucoure were both sent off during the heated confrontation.
Liverpool manager Arne Slot was also issued a red card, which means he will miss his team’s next match.
