Manchester City’s new signee, Omar Marmoush sank Newcastle United with a spectacular first-half hat-trick at Etihad.
The Egyptian introduced himself to the home fans by scoring three goals within 14 minutes to humble and prepare the visitors for defeat from the half of the match.

With ease, City defeated the Magpies: all thanks to goals from Marmoush and a late goal from substitute James McAtee.
As a result, City moved up to fourth place in the table and Newcastle dropped back to seventh. City are back into the Premier League top four. And for the remainder of the season, Pep Guardiola will want them to remain there.
However, Pep’s day was not fully fine as Erling Haaland limped off near the end with what looked to be a right knee injury, just four days before City’s Champions League play-off second leg in Madrid.
