Liverpool crushed Tottenham at Anfield on Thursday night, overcoming a one-goal first-leg deficit to go to the Carabao Cup final for the third time in four years.
Following the contentious victory goal in north London last month by Lucas Bergvall, Spurs had a slim 1-0 advantage going into Anfield.

Goals from Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Virgil van Dijk sank Spurs but sealed the victory for Reds.
Liverpool will now take on Newcastle United, who swept Arsenal aside with 4-0 overall in the other two-leg semi-final, at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, March 16.

34th minute, Cody Gakpo put Liverpool ahead as he beat Spurs goal keeper with a cross from Mohamed Salah. Six minutes into the second half (51st minute) Salah took a penalty and converted it with force.
Later, Dominik Szoboszlai (75th minute) and Virgil van Dijk (80th minute) scored goals three and four respectively, to guarantee their place in the championship game.
