Portugal defeated Denmark 5-2 in the second leg at home on Sunday night, won 5-3 on aggregate after extra time, and went to the UEFA Nations League semi-finals.

In the first ten minutes of the match, Denmark goalie denied Cristiano Ronaldo a goal from the spot.
However, the hosts tied the score thirty minutes later when Joachim Andersen, after a weird corner, headed into his own net.
Just before halftime, Ronaldo’s close-range header was ruled out as replays revealed Rafael Leao was offside during the buildup to the goal.
Denmark took control of the second half as Rasmus Kristensen scored from a corner, but with less than 20 minutes left to play, Ronaldo scored Portugal’s second goal.
In the 76th minute, Christian Eriksen scored after Ruben Dias mistakenly gave possession away in his own half, but Francisco Trincao restored Portugal’s lead on the night just four minutes before the end of regular time.
In the first minute of extra time, Trincao scored the game-winning goal, and five minutes prior to the final whistle, Gonzalo Ramos added a fifth.
Portugal have advanced to the semifinals of UEFA Nations League.
