Incredibly, Brighton have beaten Chelsea for the second time in six days!
The Seagulls knocked the Blues out of the FA Cup fourth round with a 2-1 victory last weekend. They have done it again. Same story but different strokes in styles: They secure a comfortable 3-0 victory at the Amex Stadium against the toothless visitors.
The home side put on an outstanding display, moving up to eighth position, ahead of both Aston Villa and Fulham.

Brighton won their first home game in the Premier League in six games. They have beaten the same opponent twice in seven days for the first time as a top-flight club, and for the first time since November 2007 (v Cheltenham Town).
Chelsea’s wretched 2025 continues, as Manchester City may potentially knock the team out of the top four with a win over Newcastle today. They have not won any match in their five away matches in the Premier League, and they have only nine points from their last nine Premier League games.
