Nigerian scammers were found to be responsible for defrauding a French woman of $850,000 by using artificial intelligence (AI)-generated pictures of Brad Pitt.
At least three Nigerians are being sought by a French woman who lost her life savings to con artists posing as American actor Brad Pitt, whom her legal team claims defrauded her of.
The scammers tricked the victim, identified as 53-year-old Anne by French broadcaster TF1, into believing she was in a romantic relationship with the 61-year-old Hollywood star by using AI-generated photos.
