In an attempt to increase their prospects of making it to the FIFA World Cup in 2026, the Super Eagles will face their African rival, Rwanda in tomorrow’s (21st March) World Cup Qualifier match at the Amahoro Stadium.
The Rwanda’s Amavubi are hoping to get closer to making their historic first-ever World Cup appearance, while the Super Eagles, who are still looking for their first victory in the qualifiers, will be desperate to turn things around.
Nigeria have lost one and drawn three of their first four group matches, putting them in the fifth position of Group C. However, a win for Rwanda would solidify their lead in the group.
Nigeria will need to win their remaining games to get a chance of qualifying for the next World Cup.
