Reality TV star and former Big Brother Naija winner, Josephina “Phyna” Otabor, has taken to social media to call out Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, and the Dangote Group over a road accident that she says left her sister badly injured.
According to Phyna, the accident involved one of the company’s trucks. In a passionate post, she alleged that police officers were instructed to remove the truck’s plate number, raising concerns about possible attempts to cover up the incident. She also claimed that although a Dangote Group manager was reportedly scheduled to visit the police station handling the case, no one from the company had reached out to check on her sister at the hospital.
“If that truck and your driver should leave that station, I will be right back. I’m attending to my sister first. Na money you get, you no be God… My God is bigger. Enough is enough, una don too chop people, but this time, it won’t be the same,” Phyna wrote [Instagram post].
The former BBNaija champion vowed that neither the truck nor its driver would be released until justice is served, accusing the Dangote Group of having a troubling record of accidents linked to its vehicles.
As of the time of writing, the Dangote Group has not released an official response to the allegations.
Phyna’s post has ignited heated discussions across social media, with many Nigerians calling for transparency, accountability, and swift action to ensure justice for her sister and other victims of similar incidents.
