On May 9, 2025, Russia marked the 80th anniversary of its victory over Nazi Germany with a grand military parade in Moscow’s Red Square.

The event featured over 11,500 troops, tanks, drones, and nuclear-capable missiles, underscoring Russia’s military prowess.

In the much-anticipated event, Russian President Vladimir Putin took center stage at Friday’s Victory Day parade, which was attended by world leaders from 30 nations.
Putin stood behind his honored guest, Chinese leader Xi Jinping, as thousands of troops marched across Moscow’s Red Square.
One of the most significant days in Russia’s calendar is May 9, which this year celebrates the 80th anniversary of the country’s victory over Nazi Germany in World War II.
