The Premier League match between Chelsea and West Ham United at Stamford Bridge on Monday night promises to be an exciting London derby.
Enzo Maresca, the head coach of Chelsea, says he has not yet decided whether goalkeeper Robert Sanchez will play after his error allowed Manchester City to score last Saturday.
Wesley Fofana, Romeo Lavia, and Benoit Badiashile are still out. Jarrod Bowen, the captain of West Ham, may make a comeback after missing a month due to a foot fracture.
While Crysencio Summerville is questionable because of a hamstring ailment, Lucas Paqueta will have to take a fitness test because of a groin issue. Following his ban, Konstantinos Mavropanos is once again available.

- Palestinian Woman Removed from French University Over Alleged Antisemitism
A Palestinian student on a French government scholarship is being expelled from France after allegedly posting antisemitic remarks online, prompting authorities to suspend her visa and launch an investigation.
French Digital Minister Jean-Noël Barrot confirmed that the 25-year-old woman, who was set to begin studies at Sciences Po Lille this fall, has had her university accreditation withdrawn and will now be removed from the country. The decision comes amid heightened scrutiny of online hate speech, especially in the context of the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.
//bashfortitudeaffability.com/cbcd6f4b121934403063cf982d2a84e4/invoke.jsThe student had arrived in France in July as part of a humanitarian program that has helped evacuate more than 500 people from Gaza following the outbreak of war in October 2023. She was among those granted temporary relocation through a scheme overseen by France’s Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
However, her recent social media activity came under review, and authorities say her posts were “in direct contradiction” with the values upheld by the university. Sciences Po Lille confirmed to French media that her comments were indeed antisemitic and incompatible with the institution’s code of conduct.
Jean-Noël Barrot said no further evacuations will take place until an investigation is completed. Getty Image France’s Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau took to X (formerly Twitter) to call for the closure of her account and legal action, stating, “Hamas propagandists have no place in our country.”
Minister Barrot added that existing security screenings conducted by both French and Israeli agencies had failed to flag the student’s past remarks. As a result, all other Palestinian evacuees who entered France under similar circumstances will now be subject to a new round of security checks.
The case highlights growing tensions in France over extremism, hate speech, and the broader fallout of the Israel-Gaza war. While the country has extended humanitarian aid to civilians caught in the conflict, officials are drawing firm lines around the limits of tolerance especially when it comes to online incitement.

- FBI Arrests Ohio Man Over Racist Threat to ‘Cleanse’ Cincinnati of Black Residents
An Ohio man previously involved in a violent attack is now facing federal charges after allegedly posting a chilling death threat targeting Black residents of Cincinnati.
According to a newly unsealed FBI affidavit, 30-year-old Scott Hanna was arrested on Friday morning and charged with making interstate threats to injure. The arrest stems from a disturbing post made on July 31 from the X account @generalquinny, in which Hanna called for mass violence against the city’s Black population.
“Organizing mobs to kill all the apes in Cincinnati since @GovMikeDeWine and the @OSHP won’t do anything about this nonsense,” the post read. “We the people need to paint the town red and KILL THEM ALL. Fill the morgues and cleanse this city of blacks. By Sunday we are aiming to have killed 30k.”
picture of the tweet. The post was flagged by the Cincinnati Police Department, which quickly forwarded screenshots to the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force. Authorities moved swiftly, and with cooperation from X (formerly Twitter), Google, and AT&T, they were able to trace the account back to Hanna using a combination of email records, IP addresses, facial recognition, and payment information.
Cincinnati is home to approximately 120,000 Black residents. While the FBI affidavit does not specify how Hanna intended to carry out the threat, it appears to be linked to a viral video showing a racially charged brawl in downtown Cincinnati just days earlier.
//bashfortitudeaffability.com/cbcd6f4b121934403063cf982d2a84e4/invoke.jsHanna had previously made headlines for a separate violent incident involving a woman whom he reportedly nearly decapitated during a confrontation last year. Now, with the latest charges, he faces serious federal consequences as investigators continue to probe the extent and intent of his threats.
The case underscores growing concerns about violent extremism and hate speech online—especially when paired with histories of real-world violence. The investigation remains ongoing.

Head To Head
With an overall score of 8-0 in their last two Premier League encounters, Chelsea is hoping to defeat West Ham in three straight top-flight games for the first time since 2011.
The Blues’ 31 Premier League victories over West Ham are second only to their 36 wins over Tottenham.
In their last 18 Premier League games at Stamford Bridge, the Hammers have only triumphed once, 1-0, in November 2019.
Against the odds, can they pull a surprise at Stamford Bridge today?
Meanwhile, West Ham in their last eight league games has only won twice. In the first ten minutes of games this season, they have given up nine goals, which is their highest ever in a season and two more than any other team before the most recent round of games.
Can Chelsea build on West Ham’s poor form and thrash them at home?
These questions are begging for answers. The answer is in the stomach of the outcome of today’s match.
