Kevin De Bruyne, a midfielder for Manchester City, has announced that he will be leaving the Premier League team at the end of the current campaign.
After ten years, De Bruyne stated in a social media statement on Friday: “These will be my final months as a Manchester City player,”
The Belgian, whose deal with City expires in the summer, was paid £54.5 million to join from Wolfsburg in 2015.
Since moving from Wolfsburg to City, De Bruyne, has won 16 trophies, including six Premier League titles and the 2023 Champions League.
The 33-year-old won the Champions League, two FA Cups, five League Cups, and six Premier League crowns while he was at the Etihad. De Bruyne was also a member of the 2020–21 treble-winning squad led by Pep Guardiola.
