Premier League winners Manchester City revealed on Friday that Erling Haaland had inked a new 9.5-year contract that will keep him at the Etihad until 2034.
Although the 24-year-old striker’s current contract was set to expire in June 2027, he has now committed to the team for an additional ten years. The Norwegian has 111 goals in 126 outings for City since joining from Borussia Dortmund in 2022.
Haaland said, “I am really happy to have signed my new contr-act and to be able to look forward to spending even more time at this great club.” “Manchester City is a special club, full of fantastic people with amazing supporters, and it’s the type of environment that helps bring the best out of everybody. He added.
Despite rumors that the 24-year-old is interested in joining Real Madrid, Haaland is reportedly very content with his life in Manchester and playing for the Premier League winners.
