
Arsenal began their new year run with an incredible win Against Brentford. The 3-1 victory over the Bees in a London derby match at Gtech Community Stadium was enough to move the Gunners more closer to Liverpool on the Premier league’s table
In the match, Bryan Mbeumo put Brentford ahead at the Brentford Community Stadium in London, but Gabriel Jesus, Mikel Merino, and Gabriel Martinelli got the Gunners back on track.
With seven victories and nine losses from their 19 games, the Bees are now ranked 12th in the league.
Despite playing the same number of games, the Gunners have only lost twice and won 11 of them.
The win takes Arsenal from third to second, six points behind leaders Liverpool, who host Manchester United on Sunday.
With the victory, Arsenal moves up to second place above Chelsea, and six points behind league leaders Liverpool, who will play Manchester United on Sunday.
