Hon. Justice Azuka, a member of the Anambra State House of Assembly, was recently reported missing, however he was found dead.
On Thursday morning, word spread that a combined security team had discovered the body at the 2nd Niger Bridge.
The honourable was representing Onitsha I North district in the Anambra State House of Assembly. He was kidnapped by gunmen on December 24, 2024.
He was reportedly kidnapped while going home on Ugwunaobankpa Road in Inland Town, Onitsha.
The incident marks the second kidnapping and murder of a sitting Anambra lawmaker in recent years.
Okey Okoye from Aguata, was kidnapped and decapitated in 2022. Later, his body was discovered in the South-East state, near the Nnobi axis.
