Amorim Hints at Fresh Start for Man Utd Outcasts If Transfers Fall Through

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has suggested that several sidelined stars could be handed a “new life” at Old Trafford if they fail to secure moves before the transfer window closes.

Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho, and Tyrell Malacia have all been training away from the first-team squad in recent weeks. United have been open to letting them go, but potential transfers have stalled due to the club’s steep valuations and, in Sancho’s case, his hefty £350,000-a-week wages.

Despite the uncertainty, Amorim hinted that the players could yet feature in his plans after September 1.

“I know that it’s not a good thing to have players in this situation, but it’s clear they want to play in a different club,”

So, we try to arrange everything for both parts to be happy, I have to try to have the training with the guys that I think are going to be the future.
Then the other guys are training and preparing for the next chapter.
When the window is closed, it’s a different history. When the window is closed, we have to receive the players and then a new life. Anything can happen. Amorim stated.

Garnacho has been strongly linked with Chelsea, while Real Betis are eyeing a reunion with Antony following his successful loan spell in Spain. Sancho, however, remains a tough sell due to his wages, and Malacia has attracted only limited interest so far.

United’s season has already begun on a disappointing note, with a 1-0 loss to Arsenal on the opening weekend. Goalkeeper Altay Bayindir was at fault for Riccardo Calafiori’s winner, while Andre Onana sat out due to a hamstring problem but could return for Sunday’s clash against Fulham.

Amorim, however, stopped short of confirming his starting goalkeeper.

Onana is ready to play like last week, so we will see in the game who is going to be the goalkeeper

As the transfer window ticks down, all eyes will be on whether United’s “outcasts” find new clubs—or whether Amorim truly gives them a shot at redemption at Old Trafford.
